Dr Dave Richards

"Dr Dave" is a successful leader, senior executive, serial entrepreneur, management consultant, teacher and author. He speaks and writes about the entrepreneurial creation of value of all kinds - how to successfully commercialise ideas, but also the need for leaders and organisations to look beyond monetary value for a broader understanding of their strategic purpose. He speaks and consults internationally on topics such as leadership, strategy, innovation, cultural change, and partnering. He is Senior Lecturer, Leadership & Strategy at Bournemouth University's Business School, Non-executive Vice President and Director of the Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and Co-founder and Lifetime Member of the MIT Innovation Lab. Previously he held various senior executive, globally responsible roles with multinational leaders. His PhD in Psychology and Neurophysiology was earned from the University of Toronto.
